Fergus is also a committee member of the Engineers Ireland Institute, actively involved in the promotion and verification of new chartered members. Fergus is also involved with charitable fund raising on behalf of the institute for Cancer Research, Prostrate Cancer, the EI benevolent fund, and other nominated charities, under the governance of the EI Institute.
