The Company:
With a turnover of over £55 Million, this contractor has recently acquired a substantial order book of work for 2020 that will initially run for 3 years with a 5 year optional extension dependant on performance. They are very well respected in their sector and consistently carry out works to a high standard, which in turn keeps clients happy and drives more work.
The Work:
A well-known client has recently released work on their major infrastructure network that has been acquired by this contractor. The contract is worth up to £250 Million for the initial three years so this really is the type of contract that will take them to the next level.
The Role:
Due to the influx of work, a Works Scheduler is required to co-ordinate the teams and schedule of work in order to ensure that both planned and unplanned maintenance, reactive works are carried out to the standard that the contractor is known for. You would be a key component in ensuring compliance so that fines and penalties for non-completed or overrun works don't occur.
