Overview

We are seeking an experienced CSWIP-qualified Welding Inspector to support a major mechanical installation project in Kalundborg, Denmark. This is a site-based role focused on the inspection and quality assurance of mechanical installations, with a strong emphasis on high-purity pipework.

This long-term contract opportunity is suited to an inspector with experience working in high-specification, regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect welding activities across all mechanical equipment installed on the project

• Carry out visual weld inspections in accordance with approved WPS, project specifications, and applicable standards

• Ensure compliance and quality of high-purity pipework installations

• Review welding documentation including WPS, WPQRs, and welder qualifications

• Identify, record, and follow up on non-conformances

• Liaise with site management, welding teams, and QA/QC personnel

• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records

Essential Requirements

• CSWIP Welding Inspector qualification (mandatory)

• Proven experience inspecting high-purity pipework and mechanical systems

• Strong understanding of welding inspection standards and QA/QC procedures

• Ability to work independently in a site-based role

• Valid European passport (essential)

• Availability to work on-site in Denmark for the full contract duration

Desirable Experience

• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, food & beverage, or similar high-purity environments

• Stainless steel pipework inspection experience

• Previous experience working on international projects
