Are you an experienced Temporary Works Manager looking for your next challenge? A well-established RC Frame and Groundworks contractor is looking to strengthen its team with an experienced professional to work across major projects in London.
You’ll be responsible for managing temporary works on high-value schemes ranging from £10m to £50m. The role offers exposure to complex, technically demanding projects and the opportunity to play a key part in their safe and successful delivery.
The position involves taking ownership of temporary works from design through to installation and removal, ensuring all works are fully compliant with current regulations and best practice. You’ll work closely with project managers, engineers and site teams, providing technical input and ensuring standards are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and coordinating temporary works designs and on-site installations
Working closely with project teams and external designers
Carrying out regular site inspections and audits
Providing practical technical advice and support to site teams
To be considered, you should have:
A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
Proven experience managing temporary works within RC Frame and Groundworks
Strong knowledge of relevant standards, legislation and safety requirements
Good communication and leadership skills
A methodical, proactive approach with a strong focus on safety and quality
