This opportunity for an HV Supervisor is with one of the UK’s largest Independent Connection Providers (ICP). They are experts in the design and construction of new connections and power distribution substations. With an excellent reputation in the industry, they are the go-to ICP for a number of prestigious housebuilders and construction companies working in the commercial and industrial sectors.

The Electrical / Civils Supervisor will join a busy team, responsible for building 11kV substations.

Duties:

• Supervise electrical and / or civil works carried out to ensure projects are completed safely and successfully, on time and within budget
• Complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations
• Ensure work on all sites is run correctly in accordance with project scope, regulations (such as NRSWA) and health & safety
• Liaise with and oversee gangs, contractors, site agents and suppliers for material deliveries
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO), Highways Agency and Local Authority
• Set up Traffic Management and ensure permits are in place
• Work closely with project co-ordinators to ensure successful completion of schemes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resourcing records
• Provide close support to Project Manager
• Tool box talks

Requirements:

• SMSTS or SSSTS
• CSCS
• NRSWA Supervisor (advantageous)
• Driving licence
• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within the HV, construction or utilities sectors
