Site Supervisor - Essex

Do you have experience as a Site Supervisor for the civils element of utilities projects?

Have you got a NRSWA Supervisor card?

Would you like to join a very busy contractor with projects in the telecoms and high voltage (HV) sectors?

If it’s yes then this is the opportunity for you, working for a civil engineering and utilities contractor with some major contracts in place. 

The contractor specialises in the laying of fibre and HV cables and require someone to act as a Site Supervisor for schemes in Essex.

Duties:

• Act as Site Supervisor for telecoms and HV / 11kV projects
• Ensure work on all sites is run correctly in accordance with project scope, regulations (such as NRSWA) and health & safety
• Liaise with and oversee gangs, contractors, site agents and suppliers for material deliveries
• Liaise with Distribution Network Operator (DNO), telecoms service provider, Highways Agency and Local Authority
• Set up Traffic Management and ensure permits are in place
• Work closely with project co-ordinators to ensure successful completion of schemes
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date resourcing records
• Provide close support to Project Manager
• Tool box talks

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Civils Site Supervisor working on telecoms, utilities (including gas and water) or 11kV / HV projects
• SSSTS, SMSTS or CSCS (beneficial)
• NRSWA
• Driving licence
