Site Engineer (Earthworks)

Salary to £50k + Package

A leading civil engineering contractor is in search of a highly experienced Site Engineer with a solid background in Earthworks to contribute to the High-Speed 2 (HS2) rail project. This role promises to be a cornerstone in the development of a landmark venture that will reshape the nation's transport landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage Earthworks operations, ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the project management team to coordinate on-site activities and resources.
• Drive technical problem-solving on-site, providing expert guidance and solutions.
• Monitor and report on progress against the project schedule and budget.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Implement quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of workmanship.

Skills & Experience:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is essential.
• Proven experience in Earthworks within large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software and technologies.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• CSCS qualification and a thorough understanding of current Health & Safety legislation.
