Site Engineer

Role: Site Engineer
Location: Sussex/Kent
Salary: Up to £36k

• Are you a Site Engineer with an interest in working within the wastewater sector?
• Would you like to work on an AMP 7 framework with works in excess of £350m?

Main Accountabilities:

• Providing engineering control including setting out requirements of civil and mechanical works
• Management of change control, liaising with the commercial team and Project Manager in the management and resolution of change and subcontract management
• Issue of permits in accordance with the relevant procedures and Costain Way
• Production, check and review of Risk Assessments / Method Statements (RAMS)
• Ensure works are carried out in accordance with the design, client and engineering specifications
• Develop and support the supply chain in development of Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring compliance with Quality Control requirements
• Leading the site quality control process, inspections and recording

Candidate Specification:

• HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline (preferred, but other relevant industry qualifications will be considered)
• SMSTS
• EUSR Water Hygiene (preferred – training provided once in role if necessary)
• Temporary Works Coordinator (Preferred / willingness to undertake training once in role)
• Lifting Appointed Person (Preferred / willingness to undertake training once in role)
• First Aid (Preferred / willingness to undertake training once in role)
• Confined Space Working (Preferred / willingness to undertake training once in role)
