Site Engineer

Location: Bank Station (EC3)

Pay: £300 per day

• Are you a site engineer that wants to work on one of the largest capacity upgrade projects in the UK?
• Do you have experience in working on Crossrail or London Underground projects?

About the role:

• The role of the Site Engineer is to primarily assist the Section Engineers in providing engineering control, ensuring compliance with project procedures throughout the duration of work.

About you:

• Have good communication skills in English (both written and verbal) and be able to report at Management level
• Educated to degree or higher level or equivalent in a numerate discipline, typically an Engineering discipline. A lower educational level, typically HNC or HND may be acceptable where a very significant level of experience in a senior technical engineering role can be demonstrated.
• Membership of an appropriate Professional body, typically Graduate member of Institute of Civil Engineering or an international equivalent professional status
• Typically 1‐2 years experience with a Civil Engineering Contractor on large infrastructure, Fit‐Out or tunnelling contracts
• Demonstrable previous relevant experience within LU or similar rail environment
• Hold a minimum SSSTS Accreditation
• Hold CSCS card
• Computer skills – Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer, Project.
• Hold a Tunnel Safety Card
• Hold a First Aid Training Certificate
• Hold an LU Sentinel Card
• Hold both LU & DLR Basic Track Awareness
• Hold a Confined Space Training Certificate
