Working for one of the UK’s leading railway infrastructure contractors with over 80 years’ experience in the rail infrastructure sector, this organisation prides themselves on their excellent reputation within the industry for quality and on time delivery of their projects, as well as their vision and mission to provide the best service within their sector all whilst keeping their clients and their staff happy and satisfied! They now have an opening for a Planner to join their team based in York (Initially Homebased).

This role would suit an experienced Signalling Planner with Primavera P6 experience looking to progress your career and move on to an exciting new opportunity working for an organisation that excels in their field and guarantees a positive and productive working environment then this is the opportunity for you!

In this role you can expect to produce status, performance and resource data for inclusion in weekly and monthly reports whilst also ensuring the delivery of site possessions, blockades, isolations and protections.

To be considered for this role the successful Signalling Planner will have the following background and experience:

  • Demonstrable experience within a similar P6 Planning role within an appropriately sized Main Contractor organisation in the Civils sector / on projects for infrastructure clients.
  • Previous experience in the Rail / LU / TfL environment would be highly desirable
  • A structured career history.
  • Degree or higher level qualification in a numerate discipline typically in engineering, surveying mining or construction.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6
  • Track record of project delivery; in relation to safety, timescale, quality and cost.

In return the company offer a competitive salary of up to £70,000 (DoE) and package
