Required:

• Experience in the Utilities sector
• SHEQ experience

This role will see you take responsibility for the development and implementation of policies that coincide with company activities as well as covering the SHEQ Manager when they are off site or absent.

Your role as SHEQ Adviser will involve you:

• Setting targets for the team and ensuring they are met by conducting training sessions for all staff and also liaise with clients
• Carrying out investigations for injury and other reported events, compile factual, concise reports identifying causes and agreed actions to prevent recurrence
• Undertaking audits and inspections to demonstrate compliance with company systems, standards clauses and legislative requirements 
• Using the data to compile reports detailing trends, system improvements and corrective actions
