Senior Quantity Surveyor - Surrey

A leading ground-engineering specialist based in Surrey has had a recent influx of work through from their loyal client base and has therefore identified a need to recruit within their commercial team. They require a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their organisation to oversee a portfolio of work given to them by some highly respectable main contractors.

You will have the opportunity to be part of a well-structured team that successfully delivers 60-70 ground-engineering projects per annum whilst working heavily alongside the Commercial Director. This will be a client-facing role, so you will be responsible for keeping the clients onside and protecting the interests of this contractor when looking at negotiating contracts, insurances, etc.

Something that this organisation boasts is 85% repeat business, with 5 organisations covering the 60% majority of their turnover per annum, this isn’t something that you find every day. This builds an opportunity to grow and maintain a relationship with these main contractors so that later down the line it’s a lot easier for everyone involved.

Required:

Piling/groundworks experience

Can manage a portfolio of 3-4 projects at £1-3m each

Understanding of agreeing warranties/contracts with clients

Desired:

Degree qualified or equivalent
