This is a Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity with a leading Utilities contractor in the UK and one of our biggest clients. We currently deal with them all over the UK and have done for many years. The contractor have a fantastic reputation within the industry for their high staff retention rates and put effort into training to ensure professional development as proof of commitment to their employees.

Required:

• Utilities or Strong NEC Experience

Duties:

• Strong responsibility with meeting clients
• A high focus on Cost Focus Reconciliations (CVR’s)
• Calculate Change Management
• Manage up to 2 Commercial staff

As the Senior Senior Quantity Surveyor you will oversee the commercial functions on the Thames Water framework under AMP6 whilst doing repair & maintenance and surveying infrastructure projects. AMP 6 is now halfway through its cycle and Thames Water expect a growth in expenditure in the second half meaning now is a fantastic opportunity to join such a reputable company. Quantity Surveyor’s are moved around internally based on their home locations so there is now an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a professional attitude and dedication to join their team based in South London. The Commercial Manager will be your main point of contact, and he has put in hours of his time to ensure his staff are treated with respect and given the best possible chances to enhance their careers.  The long term goal is for you to progress to Commercial Manager level in a couple of years.
