Senior Quantity Surveyor (Roads)
Permanent:  to £75k + package
Based:  NE London (E17) & hybrid

Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career to the next level?  Our client, a leading highways contractor, is looking for a motivated and career focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team and take a key role in leading an important framework.

About the Role:
The position will be to manage a recently awarded renewal of a long-standing framework.  The contract does in the region of £13m per annum and has 5 years to run.  The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all surveying works related to the framework.  You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and subcontractors.  You will also have experience of developing and managing contracts, dealing with suppliers, managing costs and ensuring compliance with regulations.  The role will be reporting directly to the Company Commercial Director, but working closely with an excellent delivery team.  You will be assisted by a commercially strong Assistant Quantity Surveyor.

About You:

• Have a structured career history in highways or civil frameworks
• Strong NEC experience
• Quantity Surveying degree (desired)
• Ability to work independently
• Good client interfacing skills
