Senior Quantity Surveyor (HS2)

Salary:  to £65k + package (subsistence if required)

Based:  Warwickshire (B46)

Part of this project involves the biggest section of work, the West Midlands route.  It incorporates some of the most complex and interesting ground engineering ever done on a major infrastructure project  in the UK. 

My client, delivering the work with their JV partner, require a commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to oversee an initial £20m project, which forms part of a £600m scheme.  The project will involve retaining strucutures to a tunnel and large diaphragm walls.  You will report into and work closely with the Senior Commercial Manager. 

The suitable applicant will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £20m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Commercially astute
• Ideally degree or HND level qualification
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
• Understanding of ground engineering beneficial
