Senior Quantity Surveyor – (highways & civils)

Salary:  to £60k + package* (car or travel allowance, pension, professional fee’s paid, outstanding training and development schemes)

Based:  Kent

If yes, then we have a key role for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join this market leading contractor on a major highways framework.

The contract will have a revenue of £50-70m per annum with schemes ranging from general maintenance through to project works.

The role will see you take on key commercial duties, supporting a Business Unit Manager and Senior Commercial Manager on at times complex commercial issues and tasks.  Along with that, the position will see you take management responsibility over a small commercial team, advising and directing them in delivering on commercial targets and duties required for this prestigious framework.  The duties will mainly be post contract.

Our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a positive outlook in terms of how they deliver their work along with the following:

• Strong NEC experience in project or framework schemes
• Ability to mentor and manage junior members of the team
• Structured career history
• Good eye for detail
• Client interfacing skills
