Senior Quantity Surveyor - Buckinghamshire

This Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity is for a surveyor with experience in both NEC and JCT forms of contract to immediately join a business that has seen a continuous growth into 2018 working on major commercial, sport arenas and residential projects worth up to £20m. They have taken on a new portfolio in 2018, with the project values ranging from £500,000 - £6m. The role will see you based out of their head office in Milton Keynes, travelling to their project sites in London and the surrounding Home Counties.

This position requires you to supervise a team of 3 commercial staff, whilst reporting into the Group Commercial Director. The chosen surveyor will play a pivotal role within the business ensuring the commercial aspects run smoothly and taking responsibility within the team to keep all commercial relationships maintained. As well as being responsible for the contracts within the business, the role requires you to work closely with the engineering teams and playing a part in the pre-construction works, including the pricing your own work. The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor should ideally be an autonomous individual that can work to tight deadlines, while also being able to offer advice and support when needed throughout the role.

Required:

• Experience with NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Must have a landscaping/groundworks/specialist civils background
