Senior Quantity Surveyor - Buckinghamshire

This Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity is for a surveyor with experience in both NEC and JCT forms of contract to immediately join a business that has seen a continuous growth into 2018 having worked on projects, such as the Olympic Park worth over £1m and other major commercial, sport arenas and residential projects worth up to £20m in value. The role will see you based in their head office and travelling into their various sites in London and surrounding Home Counties, on projects ranging from £500,000 - £6m.

This position requires you to supervise a team of 3 commercial staff, whilst reporting to the Group Commercial Director. The chosen Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role within the business ensuring the commercial aspects run smoothly taking responsibility within the team to maintain and enhance commercial relationships. As well as being responsible for the contracts within the business, you would be required to mentor 1-2 Junior Quantity Surveyors. On a daily basis the role will involve you working closely with the engineering teams on the pre-construction works, including pricing your own work. This position will see you join a reputable landscaping contractor, and due to the small team working with you, have the opportunity to progress to a more senior role.

Required:

• Experience with NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Must have a landscaping/groundworks/specialist civils background
