Senior Quantity Surveyor (Specialist Civils, HS2)

Salary:  to £70k + package

Based:  Central London / Home (E1)

Our client is a world leader within their specialist engineering field.  They have secured over £250m in HS2 contracts that range from joint ventures through to independently run projects. They are looking for a Senior / Lead Quantity Surveyor to manage a £27m ground engineering and instrumentation project that’s been awarded to them from one of the major JV’s on HS2.

The role will involve having the ability to manage the project from start to finish, commercially advising and directing the Project Management and Engineering teams, as well as managing the client.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will need to have experience in being able to operate independently

The desired criteria for the chosen Quantity Surveyor:

• £20m + package or project management experience
• NEC, ideally Option C
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Looking for a long term role
• Need to have a structured career history
