Senior Quantity Surveyor (Rail Station) - London - N

Come and join one of the world’s leading engineering and infrastructure contractors!

This renowned contractor is delivering a key station contract that forms part of a North London regeneration and leisure development, the size of the project will be in the region of £25m.

They require a Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing / administering key subcontracts and sub consultants, ensuring works are being carried out in accordance with the contract targets and systems.  Some key tasks will be change management and assessing CE’s and EWN’s.  The packages of work will focus on civils and building, delivered under an NEC Option C contract.

As a company, they have excellent senior commercial management leadership who focus a lot on career development of their teams.  They have hands on, approachable personalities!

Once this project is completed, they are in line to secure some prestigious new contracts that will range in value from £80m to £750m.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will ideally have the following background:

• Building or civils experience (rail beneficial)
• Ability to work under your own direction 
• Experience in NEC 3
• Degree or HND level qualification, working towards chartership (support by the company will be provided)
• Positive attitude to the way you work
