Senior Quantity Surveyor (Multi-Services Contractor) - Berkshire

An exciting role has developed with a highly respected construction support services contractor who have secured a prestigious contract on a key government / MOD project.

This role will see you, as the chosen Senior Quantity Surveyor, take a commercial lead on this long term framework contract, working closely with the leading main contractor in the pre-construction phase to plan and support the life cycle of the project with accurate forecasting. From there it will move to implementation stage where you will, alongside the Project Manager, ensure the likes of logistics, general construction, security, waste management, facility maintenance are carried out to the high standards of the company.  A key element of the role will be to develop a strong, long term relationship with the client.

The position will suit a Quantity Surveyor with the following skills set:

• Good client and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage contract change and adapt accordingly
• Ideally have security clearance, but not essential
• Structured career history and someone looking for a long term position
