An excellent opportunity with a London Local Authority has arisen, who are currently looking for a Senior Building Control Surveyor to join the team.

Situated in this busy borough, which is seeing an extensive period of major regeneration and has a pipeline of construction work stretching 2 decades. Working directly with the Local Authority you will be overseeing a range of building projects from loft conversions to new build mixed use developments. To be considered you should have experience as a Building Control Surveyor at a senior level and have extensive knowledge and experience of working to UK Building Regulations.

This role requires you to be able to provide a range of professional and technical skills by preparing reports and recording inspections incorporating decisions made on site. Additionally you will examine plans and details submitted under the Building Regulations, checking for compliance with the requirements of those Regulations and allied legislation.
