Reactive Maintenance Contracts Manager

Salary:  £45k + vehicle + Private use (Nissan Navara) Petrol Card, Laptop, PDA, PPE

Based:  Essex / Bedfordshire

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work within the rail sector?

An established rail contractor who have been in business for over 40 years delivering key schemes throughout the South East for key clients like Network Rail and London Underground.  Due to some key contract wins they are looking for a Reactive Maintenance Contracts Manager to form part of the Maintenance team who manage buildings in London, Essex and Bedfordshire.

The suitable applicant will need to have excellent management skills, good build quality focus and be able to work well with

The Reactive Maintenance Contracts Manager will:

• Check work completed
• Raise orders and disputes
• Chair Meetings
• Approve invoices
• Assist in the design and work brief for work 
• Carry out site inspection approval of contractors’ work.

Criteria for the successful Reactive Maintenance Contracts Manager:

• Experience in Building Maintenance at a supervisory or management level.
• DLO experience
• Rail experience
• Working knowledge of building maintenance related Health & Safety, technical and legislative requirements and the skills to manage this effectively to ensure compliance.
• Knowledge of Rail related properties.
• Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to write and present clear technical reports to technical and non-technical persons.
• Computer literacy
