Quantity Surveyor (HS2)

Based:  Buckinghamshire / NW London

Our client is a world leader within their specialist engineering field.  They have secured a £200m contract to deliver key works on a major section of HS2, working independently but closely with the Joint Venture main contractors.

They are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who will have the ability to manage key packages of work on the contract, working closely with the Lead Commercial Manager and Project Director to ensure their portion of work is delivered within the commercial targets set.

The suitable Quantity Surveyor will need to have experience in being able to operate independently, along with working closely and confidently with Directors.  In terms of the company, their reputation of looking after their employee’s is exceptional!

The suitable Surveyor will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £50m + package or project experience
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
• Need to have a structured career history
