Quantity Surveyor - Surrey

After working on several of the UK’s complex engineering schemes including Battersea Power Station and Crossrail, this reputable contractor is currently looking to strengthen their Commercial team for upcoming, similar projects. They are looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor who is able to manage their own schemes up to the value of £15m, either on your own project or a package of work on a larger one.

The company itself are renowned for promoting from within, and this is evidenced by 4 Senior Quantity Surveyors recently being promoted to the position of Commercial Manager. They strongly believe in providing opportunities for their employees to succeed and thrive in a busy market sector.

After meeting the Commercial Lead in their ground engineering team, they will match the project that would best suit your abilities and experience to date. If this is one of their larger ones, you would have the opportunity to develop a junior member of the team. They hold regular 6 month reviews, so with successful performance, you could be considered for a Commercial Manager position within 4 reviews!

Required:

• Subcontractor experience
• Ability to manage own schemes up to £15m

Desired:

• Degree qualified or equivalent
• Piling experience
