Quantity Surveyor - Buckinghamshire

Come and work for an up and coming specialist groundworks and demolition contractor!

A Quantity Surveyor is required to measure and price specialist demolition, groundworks and general building schemes up to the value of £5m. The majority of these projects are based at Heathrow with an additional upcoming pipeline of work in Hertfordshire.

The role will see you working closely with the Construction Manager assigned to the projects, the company Solicitor for contractual issues and will report directly to the Managing Director. Duties will include:

• Using your commercial abilities to save as much money on assigned schemes
• Managing the projects from a commercial perspective
• Measurement and pricing of smaller jobs

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will be competent in all of these duties, have a driven attitude and will have a proven background working for a contractor within the groundworks, demolition or general building sectors.

This is a long-term assignment and with the company’s current and pipelined workload, it could develop into a permanent role if this suits all parties.
