Quantity Surveyor (Major Civils)

Salary:  to £60k + package + subsistence if required

Based:  Suffolk (IP10 0DD) + Hybrid

An exciting role for a Quantity Surveyor to join a respected and highly regarded civils contractor, who have been awarded a major portfolio of work on one of the UK’s most talked about and prestigious infrastructure contracts!

About the Project and Role:

Our client is part of a major framework that will be delivering complex civils and infrastructure works.  Reporting into the Lead Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for managing key packages of work, ensuring strong cost control and delivering on targets set from the start of those works.  You will work closely with the delivery teams and together ensure the clients deliverables are met. 

The role will see you work closely with the Project Delivery Team to deliver this unique project that will be key in supporting the build process of this UK Mega Project.  You will work closely with the client and supply chain, upholding the contractors commercial interest and benefits.

The suitable candidate will have the following experience:

• NEC experience is key
• Sub-contract package management
• Good client facing skills
• Feel you are contractually astute and knowledgeable
• Be able to spot commercial opportunity
