A company with more than 2 decades of experience in the civils sector which prides itself on its ability to handle both large scale and small scale projects. With a more recent focus on operating as a main contractor, recent years has seen the company take on large infrastructure projects of famous projects around London and the UK. The projects this company take on are worked to the highest standards with the company being capable of expanding to the continent due to how they handle themselves in the UK and the reputation they have created for themselves. Recently, the company have had a massive upturn in work and have high projections for the next five years, due to this and to fresh project rewards, the need for a Quantity Surveyor has arisen for a Data Centre project in Groningen in the Netherlands.
As Quantity Surveyor on this Data Centre project, you will be part of an established, well oiled team that will be responsible for almost the whole project (apart from the fabrication). This would include the underground works, the steelwork, structure, utilities side of the project as well as other sections.
With a project value north of €100m, you will be handling packages on a large scale. Reporting to the Commercial Manager for the project, you will take on a portion of the projects which are in their early, pre-construction phases currently. As Quantity Surveyor in this team, you will be expected to have previous experience in relevant sectors. The projects will be done on the FIDIC contract type.
