Quantity Surveyor (Major Construction, Groundworks / RC)

Salary:  to £65k + benefits

Based:  Central London (City and West End)

This award winning contractor has secured a portfolio of new work and currently have a requirement for a Quantity Surveyor.  The main focus of your role will be on Commercial, high end mixed use schemes in Central London.  Their package of work on projects is valued up to £150m and will involve complex basement and RC frames.  The specific project in mind will be based on an iconic, historical building in central London.  You will work alongside the Project Manager, reporting into the Lead Commercial Manager.

You will need to possess strong analytical skills and possess the initiative to work under your own direction.  This is a great opportunity for an ambitious quantity surveyor to join a friendly and supportive construction team to deliver exciting projects in the South East.  As a business, they have a number of other divisions that include rail / infrastructure, development and aviation so in the long term opportunities to gain experience in other sectors is easily achievable.
