Quantity Surveyor (Roads)
Permanent:  to £55k + package
Based:  East London (E2) & hybrid

Are you a Quantity Surveyor looking to take your career to the next level?  Our client, a leading highways contractor, is looking for a motivated and career focused Quantity Surveyor to join the team and take a key role in managing scheme / project-based contracts within their London portfolio.

About the Role:
The position will be to manage a series of existing and forecasted project-based schemes, ranging in value up to £3m.  these can be structures, complex civils, road bridges or medium civil works.   You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both clients and subcontractors.  You will also have experience of developing and managing contracts, dealing with suppliers, managing costs and ensuring compliance with regulations.  The role will be reporting directly to Sector Commercial Lead and working closely with an excellent delivery team.  

About You:

• Have a structured career history in highways or civil frameworks
• NEC experience
• Quantity Surveying degree (desired)
• Ability to work independently
• Good client interfacing skills
