After returning from the New Year break, a Regional Commercial Manager from a key player within the utilities industry has been in touch detailing that after reviewing 2017, they have identified the need to recruit an ambitious Project Quantity Surveyor. This is to manage a key package of work on a framework contract with Thames Water.

The role will see you carry out the following duties:

• Use your commercial acumen to reduce costs of your assigned schemes
• Manage the commercial function of a £15m per annum package of work
• Oversee subcontractor payments and produce accurate CVRs & forecasts

Ideally the successful Project Quantity Surveyor will have a structured career history within the water and civil engineering sectors and will be competent with the NEC form of contract. In return, this contractor is willing to compensate a salary up to £50k with the choice of company car or car allowance and further generous benefits. With successful performance after 12 months, the Regional Commercial Manager will open the door to a promotional review.
