Project Quantity Surveyor (Major Groundworks / Remediation)

Salary to £70k + package

Based:  Central London (EC3V)

• Arguably the UK’s leading infrastructure and building specialist contractor has an exciting role for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their groundworks and remediation division.
• As a company they are undergoing exciting growth and diversification, however they require a dynamic and career minded Quantity Surveyor to join one of their longest going divisions that focuses on major inner City commercial and residential developments.  Project values can be over £1bn, with their exposure across their different divisions amounting to up to £250m.  The groundworks and remediation aspect primarily delivers projects ranging in values from £10 – 20m.
• The role will see you take full commercial control over your own contract, reporting into the Sector Commercial Director.  You will take the contract from inception through to handover / final account and work closely with a highly regarded Project Management and Engineering Team, to ensure the work is delivered within the best financial outcomes possible.

Suitable Experience:

• Strong civils / groundworks background (NEC and JCT advantageous but not essential)
• Ability to take commercial responsibility over your own project
• Good client interfacing skills
• Ability to spot commercial opportunity
• Ideally BSc / MSc / HND level qualification
• Structured career history
