The Company:

A family-run, highly-accredited specialist contractor with an ambition to become the ‘first choice contractor’ in their chosen market sector. As a company they deliver specialist demolition, asbestos removal, earthworks, remediation, infrastructure and basement construction with their core area of operation being Central London. Their turnover has increased year-on-year and has exceeded £150m in recent times. They take pride in the fact that they have been awarded several awards for their level of service, ethos and expertise. 2019 is due to be a very busy year for them with several large, complex schemes due to commence on site in Q1.

The Role:

Due to recent tendering success, this contractor is lined up to win their largest project to date which is valued at around £50m. They have identified the need to recruit an experienced Project Manager with civils experience (structures, basements, excavation, groundworks, etc.) as this will be a key aspect to this scheme. The successful Project Manager will be using their expertise to work closely with the Operations Director for their civils phases and taking full ownership over assigned schemes.

The Ideal Site Manager:

• Proven history of taking full autonomy over the delivery of civils schemes
• Background in structures, basements, excavation & groundworks
• Structured employment history working for specialist civils contractors
