The Company

An engineering contractor of the highest calibre that operates in many different sectors including Pharmaceuticals, Data Centre, Biopharma, Utilities, Oil & Gas amongst others with an emphasis and a large amount of their work coming on the Piping side of things. With almost 50 years of experience working in the industry, they are operating to a very high level currently with a considerably large sized book of projects. Due to the high demand for their services, they are constantly busy and as one project comes to a close, another starts. In this current busy period, the need for a Piping Construction Engineer has arisen.

The Role

As Piping Construction Engineer, you will be responsible for the construction side of the Piping installation and Fabrication that goes hand in hand with the Design side. Although you will not be operating on the Design side, an understanding of this would be majorly beneficial as you would be using these designs to operate your role. The Piping Construction Engineer for this company is a key role that is at the forefront of the projects in which they operate. Due to Piping being a speciality, they are constantly looking for the latest Engineers to join their team and work with them on the latest Pharmaceutical projects in Cork.

A clear background of working for a Mechanical Contractor as an Engineer on the Piping side of things is required here as the projects are coming in thick and fast and with scope for further projects being started soon, the work is there for years to come which would put you in good stead with a steady flow of projects to work on

Requirements

• Degree Educated within a relevant discipline (Engineering for example)
• Previous experience with a Mechanical Contractor working on the construction side of Piping
• At east 3 years experience in the above
• working on a hybrid basis with time spent in Cork 
• Experience in Pharmaceuticals or similar is majorly beneficial
