M&E Quantity Surveyor (Major Station) - London - C

Come and join one of the world’s leading engineering and infrastructure contractors!

This renowned contractor is delivering one of London’s most important stations, with a project due to be complete in 2021 and a value in the region of £500m.

They require a Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in managing / administering key subcontracts and sub consultants, ensuring works are being carried out in accordance with the contract targets and systems. The initial mechanical and electrical works will comprise of the tunnelling section of work which will be in the region of £60m, with the station fit out to follow. Some key tasks will be change management and assessing CE’s and EWN’s.

The suitable professional will ideally have the following background:

• Experience of working with a specialist mechanical and electrical contractor or main contractor handling the M&E packages
• Ability to work under your own direction
• 5 + years experience
• Experience in NEC 3
• Degree or HND level qualification, working towards chartership (support by the company will be provided)
• Positive attitude to the way you work
