After returning from the New Year break, a Regional Commercial Manager from a key player within the utilities industry has been in touch advising us that after reviewing the workload for 2018, they have identified the need to recruit an experienced and ambitious Managing Quantity Surveyor. This is a challenging position representing this contractor on a framework contract with Thames Water.

The role will see you carry out the following duties:

• Lead a commercial team of around 9 Quantity Surveyors and 2 Accounts Clerks
• Manage the commercial function of a £50m turnover capital delivery framework
• Attend regular client meetings with the Regional Commercial Manager

Ideally the successful Managing Quantity Surveyor will have a structured career history within the water and civil engineering sectors, experience leading commercial staff and extremely competent with the NEC form of contract. In return, this contractor is willing to offer a generous salary up to £70k with a discretionary bonus, the choice of company car or car allowance and further generous benefits.
