Managing Quantity Surveyor (HS2)

Based:  Warwickshire (B36)

Major HS2 portfolio of work requires an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor.

My client, delivering the work with their JV partner, require a commercially astute Managing Quantity Surveyor to oversee a key section of this work, which forms part of a £600m scheme.  The role will be supporting a Lead Commercial Manager, taking on key commercial duties that will involve overseeing and mentoring a commercial team.

The suitable applicant will ideally have the following background and experience:

• £25m + package or project management experience being commercially responsible for
• Strong client interfacing skills, with an eye on spotting commercial opportunity
• Commercially astute
• Ideally degree or HND level qualification
• NEC experience
• Looking for a long term role
