Managing Quantity Surveyor (Heavy Civils)

Salary:  £75k + package (lodging if required)

Based:  Kent (ME3 0EP)

About the client:

Global market leader that has built some of the most iconic and prestigious projects in the UK over the past 50 years.

About the Project:

A complex, heavy civil engineering project for the National Grid.  The works will involve civils and RC structures delivered under tight timeframes and restrictions.  The whole scheme will be in the region of £150m+, but the role of Managing or Senior Quantity Surveyor will be to take an initial phase of this project and commercially set the scheme up.  Initial Quantity Surveyor tasks will be procurement of key sub-contract packages.  Working closely with the Project Management and Engineering Teams, you will ensure the commercial targets for the work over the duration of the project will be met. 

About You:

• Heavy civils and NEC experience
• 8 years + Quantity Surveyor experience
• Past experience of commercially setting a project up, and seeing it through to final account
• Structured career history
• Either live in Kent or be prepared to work away from home
