An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Disrepair Surveyor to join a Legal Disrepair Team working within the public sector. This is an opportunity to work with an exciting and progressive team within a social housing provider. The role is for the duration of 3 months with the likelihood of this being extended.
As Legal Disrepair Surveyor you will:
Provide a building pathology assessment of defects to specify and rectify faults
Monitor and manage building services contracts, ensuing disrepair service is lawful
Deliver professional surveys, prepare schedules and tender reports, providing recommendations on any contract specification documents
Represent the client in court as required, making recommendations on findings
Produce documents and record data in regards to disrepair cases
Essential criteria:
You will have experience working within a public sector organisation, preferably with over 5 years’ current experience within this area
To have worked as a Legal Disrepair Surveyor
A full, valid driving license and own transport is essential for this role
Experience of handling budgets of up to £2million and of working with the general public
