HV Project Manager - Cambridgeshire

Are you a Project Manager with experience of high voltage (HV) power distribution schemes?

Would you like to work for a leading utilities contractor?

Do you want to be involved in the HV portion of a significant road improvement project?

This opportunity is for an HV Project Manager to oversee cable works for a major project.

Responsibilities:

• Manage construction, installation and overhead line (OHL) diversions on HV networks
• Oversee subcontractors
• Manage financial aspects of projects
• Ensure adherence to health & safety at all times
• Liaise with design team, clients, Distribution Network Operator (DNO), councils and Highways Agency

We’re looking for someone who is qualified in either Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering and Health & Safety (IOSH, NEBOSH or equivalent) and has experience as a Project Manager working on power distribution schemes for a Distribution Network Operator (DNO) or HV contractor.  A driving licence is also essential.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong order book of work.  Once this project is complete (and there’s a year to completion), you will have the opportunity to work on other HV schemes.
