HV Project Manager - West Yorkshire

This opportunity for an HV Project Manager is with a leading electrical contractor that is set to double in size in the next eighteen months, having already enjoyed similar growth previously.  They construct, install and commission HV networks from 11kV – 132kV, working with numerous clients in the water, renewables, commercial and industrial sectors.

The HV Project Manager will run power distribution and new connection schemes from 11kV up to 132kV with duties including:

• Manage HV projects across their entire lifecycle
• Carry out project risk assessments
• Manage the financial aspects of these projects
• Manage design for projects and create a programme of works for the entire scheme
• Manage sub-contractors working on site, ensuring projects are successfully completed on-time and within budget
• Ensure projects are tested and commissioned prior to handover
• Take part in client, project Distribution Network Operator (DNO) meetings

Requirements:

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering
• Experience as a Project Manager working on power network / substation / Independent Connections Provider (ICP) / new connections / DNO projects
• Driving licence
