Two Construction Engineers / Project Managers are required to join one of the leading names in the high voltage (HV) industry.

Working on 11kV and 33kV new connection schemes (projects are in the residential, commercial and industrial sectors), the Project Manager will oversee successful delivery of the works.

Duties:

• Manage the construction of HV installations / new connections

• Lead projects to a successful close, on time and within budget

• Ensure adherence to health and safety on site

• Manage contractors working on HV and civil installation / construction activities

• Carry out risk assessments and method statements (RAMS)

• Liaise with local authorities, Highways Agency and Distribution Network Operator (DNO)

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager within the HV / power distribution / substation construction and installation / multi-utility or new connections sectors, including private networks.

• Qualifications in Electrical Engineering and ideally NRSWA and SMSTS / SSSTS are also required, as is a driving licence.
