About the Company:

This family run company with nearly 50 sector experience, who are providing contracting services and civil engineering services, have grown their customer base which include some of the key businesses and local authorities in the London and South East Based in Kent this company is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor to join its in-house team.

Skills & Experience

You will report to the Head of Health and Safety, and have experience of health & safety tasks in the construction sector including site auditing, risk assessment, accident/incident investigation, competency training and record keeping. The chosen Health & Safety Advisor will be confident, well-organised, proactive with have excellent communication and IT skills along the ability to liaise with colleagues, clients, contractors and members of the public at all levels.

In this role you will need:

• Previous experience as a Health and Safety Advisor
• Experience in the Construction and/or Utilities Industry
• NEBOSH Certification
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
