The Company:

As a £400m+ turnover contractor, this organisation has built a reputation for being a leader in providing excellence in service and expertise for utilities projects across the UK. They cover all sectors of utilities, including water, power, gas and telecoms. Their portfolio is built of both long-term framework agreements and one-off assigned projects. After being successful in winning awards recently such as ‘top 50 women in Engineering’ and being endorsed for their training and development regimes, they are now looking to use this success to expand as an organisation.

The Role:

They are looking to recruit a competent QS to deliver a key portfolio of work on a large utilities framework contract. Initially, this will be a 6 month contract with the possibility of further extension with successful performance. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing subcontractor packages, ensuring assigned schemes are aligned to the framework contract and identifying areas for commercial gain and loss.

The Ideal Individual:

• 5+ years working for utilities specialist contractors
• Excellent working knowledge of excel
• Experience in final accounts and CVR forecasting
