An exciting opportunity has developed with an exciting sub-contractor within the construction sector.  The company is close to realising their target of achieving £100m turnover, while still achieving impressive profit margins.  With this expansion they have realised the business is in need of a financially astute Finance Director (FD) who can strengthen the business further by bringing in stronger processes and structure around things like internal reporting and cash flow advice.  Another key task will be to motivate and develop a financial department team of around 8 staff.

The position will see you report into the Managing Director (MD) and 4 further stakeholders (Directors). The owners / directors feel this is a key position for the future strengthening and safeguarding of the company for years to come, as well as to give it a strong platform for the next phases of growth.

• Have construction experience

• Professional accountancy qualification
