Finance Director
This highly successful manufacturing and plant contractor is seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead and further develop their finance function. This role is a key leadership position, partnering closely with the Managing Director and driving financial performance, transparency, and process efficiency across the business.
Qualifications
University degree in Finance or a related field
Professional qualification desirable (e.g. CA or equivalent)
Experience
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in finance
Proven industry experience
Experience in manufacturing, plant contracting, construction, or related industries is an advantage
Experience in small companies within a small to midsized international group is a strong plus
Demonstrated leadership experience
Proven experience in change management
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial awareness
Strong process and cost-focused thinking
Ability to maintain a high-level overview of the entire business
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on approach when required
High awareness and understanding of IT and financial systems
Key Responsibilities
Lead the accounting and financial analysis team
Drive and implement changes toward more efficient financial processes
Act as the main contact for auditors, HQ finance, tax consultants, and authorities
Serve as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director
Manage and support finance-related projects
Establish and promote a cost-conscious mindset across the organization
Review, redefine, remove, and implement financial policies as needed
Oversee overall financial performance
Ensure accurate and timely local and group reporting
