Fibre Installation Supervisor   

UP TO £32K INCLUDING VAN (PETROL CARD INCLUDED)

With over 25 years’ experience in the design, installation and maintenance of communication networks including copper, coaxial and fibre this company has seen a huge growth in demand for their services nationwide. They are a part of a major nationwide organisation offering similar services across all utility networks. With the rollout of the fibre network nationwide and the development of multiple housing units,  there has never been such a huge demand for their services.

There is now an exciting opportunity for YOU to join this growing company as a Fibre Installation Supervisor in their Southwest, Gloucester, Worcester, Hereford & Swindon location, where you will be reporting the Area Manager.

The ideal Installation Supervisor will have experience in Fibre to the Property, have experience in cabling and splicing, with a thorough knowledge of Red Light Process & OTDR. The candidate must have good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures.

You will be responsible for ensuring performance and profitability for all installations as well as survey’s and provisioning works. In addition, this role will see you working closely with the clients to deliver projects that meet their requirements

This position requires a high degree of self-motivation, organisational and supervision skills. A proven background in the Telecoms and fibre networks market would be essential.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong skills in client management, planning, logistics, resource management and commercial controls.
• Experience working within the telecommunications industry preferably at a supervisor or manager level.
• Good working knowledge of work management systems and windows packages-(Excel/Word)
• Financial awareness
• Good awareness of Health & Safety and Quality Assurance Procedures, Roads and Street Works Act 1991 and Section 74 Regulations.
