Design Engineer / Manager  (Water Exp)

Based Birmingham ( B10)

Salary up to £80k + Package + Subsistence  OR up to £500 a day

Role:

The successful candidate will take charge of designing and managing complex engineering solutions for clean and waste water systems. This pivotal position involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet both technical specifications and regulatory standards, while also being cost-effective and sustainable.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process, from concept to completion, ensuring all project requirements are met
• Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively
• Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies
• Drive innovation in design methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff

Skills & Experience:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards it is highly desirable
• Proven experience in water/wastewater engineering projects
• Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead a team
• Adept at problem-solving and making informed decisions
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
