Construction Manager (Road Structure)

Freelance: £343 PAYE

Location: West London – W1

About the Project:

• Are you a construction manager that would be interested in working on a major road structure refurbishment project?
• Are you a Construction Manager with major projects experience on complex structures on highways and civils?

About the Role:

You will be ensuring the timely delivery of all works on the project. You will also need to lead a team of engineers and foreman to collaboratively work with both supply chain and client to ensure the satisfactory delivery of all parties. The construction manager will also have to liaise weekly with the project planner and ensure all programmes are up-dated and accurately conveyed to the team and client. You will also have to keep a full and accurate daily diary, including any changes / variations, specialist attendances, upload all daily diary reports onto BC and provide the construction manager/senior agent/works manager with an emailed report at the end of each shift.

About You:

• HND / Degree level Civil Engineering Qualification
• Professional Engineering qualification (I.Eng, C.Eng) desirable
• Practical experience delivering complex structures/roadworks at Site Engineer level
• Site Management Safety Training Scheme SMSTS
• Relevant CSCS Card
• First Aid at Work Qualification
• Awareness of Behavioural Safety desirable
• Other relevant training (e.g. Appointed Person lifting operations training, fire marshal, temporary works co-ordination)
