Civils Supervisor – Reactive Civils Works
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Location: Site-based (regional travel required)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
I am working with a leading civil engineering and infrastructure services contractor, to recruit an experienced Civils Supervisor to support their growing reactive civils and drainage operations.

The Role
As Civils Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of reactive civils works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong civils background who is confident managing site teams and coordinating works in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily site operations on reactive civils and drainage works

Lead site teams, subcontractors and plant operators to ensure safe and productive working

Ensure all works comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards

Assist with planning, scheduling and sequencing of civils activities

Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues efficiently

Carry out quality inspections and ensure works meet specification and industry standards

Maintain accurate site records, reports and documentation

Act as the main point of contact on site for operational management and stakeholders

Promote a positive safety culture and mentor junior staff where required
Candidate Requirements

Proven experience in a Civils Supervisor or similar site-based role

Strong background in civils and drainage works

Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications and site delivery

Confident leading teams and coordinating multiple work activities

Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills

Competent IT skills (Microsoft Office, reporting tools)

Relevant tickets and qualifications desirable (SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, NRSWA, First Aid etc)

Full UK driving licence
